Bukaya Sub-location in Etenje Location

Lukongo and Nyalenya sub locations, which are home to KISUNYA have a combined population of about 150 000 with about 60% primary school aged children.  The two sub locations are served by only five primary schools. These are Emukhuwa, Lukongo, Ngop Misengini, Wang Nyang and Ukalama Primary Schools.  The advent of free primary education has stretched facilities in these schools beyond limits.  There are still many children unable to attend school due to a lack of facilities and funds.
